Paramit Corporation, a contract manufacturer of medical devices and diagnostic instruments, continues to offer product development services using Tecan’s 300+ person R&D team.

Tecan acquired Paramit in 2021 to expand its vision of scaling healthcare innovation globally.  In addition to Tecan’s Bay Area R&D resources, Paramit leverages a Switzerland based team which has deep talent in software development, systems engineering, and V&V testing.  From planning and conceptualization to design, manufacturing, and even post-production service, Paramit is positioned to successfully serve OEM’s design and manufacturing needs.

Based in Morgan Hill and less than a mile from Paramit’s manufacturing facility, Tecan Systems R&D has design expertise with optics, fluidics, motion control, and industrial design.  Close proximity between design and manufacturing teams helps promote a long-term success mindset, where scalability and production costs are not ignored.
