Paramit’s Manufacturing Services

Paramit is an FDA registered outsourced manufacturer of complex, finished medical devices that provides a range of services to medical device and instrument OEMs. We specialize in sophisticated devices that require expertise in FDA compliance, mechatronics, fluidics, optics, RF, PCA assembly, subassemblies, system integration, final system assembly and testing.

Synergy Under One Roof

For many medical device and life science instrument OEMs the manufacturing process can be broken down into a series of independent functions, often managed by multiple vendors in multiple facilities. For example, the manufacturing engineering team performs the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) reviews in one facility. A different vendor often handles PCA manufacturing in a separate facility. Systems assembly, final systems test, integration and fulfillment take place in yet another location. Finally, a post-manufacturing team manages field returns and upgrades in another facility.

At Paramit we view all of these functions as interdependent operations that, in many cases, are concurrent and not sequential. Our customer-focused teams take full responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from beginning to end. We house all functions under one roof, allowing the various functional teams to interact and create the synergy critical to continuous improvement. Every team collects and shares valuable data related to manufacturing processes and product performance and reliability. As a result Paramit can identify the root causes for issues that would never be apparent in a fragmented manufacturing process where no single entity owns the final product.
