Paramit’s strong Engineering Services department goes well beyond the traditional document-control functions in supporting our customers’ product data management needs. Our engineering services utilize Paramit’s extensive information management capabilities to analyze and store incoming data, develop production documentation, and implement changes to products and processes. All product data is stored online and controlled by the Engineering Services department.

Incoming Data Analysis

All incoming data is fully reviewed by a skilled staff of Engineering Services analysts, who use a detailed checklist to verify that all information is available and accurate. Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Item Master data are specially prepared for upload with value-added component, kitting, and routing information to enable the creation of online documentation.

Manufacturing Documentation Creation

Paramit creates all manufacturing instructions online to support point-of-use access, controlled storage, and rapid change implementation. Before release to production, the customer’s assigned Product Engineer reviews and approves all documents.

ECO Implementation

Paramit’s online ECO process provides customers with clear status, rapid execution, and accurate implementation. Upon receipt of an ECO from the customer, all documents are reviewed using a detailed checklist. After approval to proceed, written plans are created for each area involved and tracked online until completed. With Paramit, no ECOs have "open loop" implementations.
