Key Elements of Paramit’s PCB Assembly Services
- Surface Mount. Paramit uses best-in-class SMT assembly equipment designed for greater speed, accuracy, and flexibility. Our facility layout and modular equipment design allows for easy expansion of capacity without sacrificing flexibility. SMT set-up is handled offline, supporting chip-to-chip changeover times of less than 10 minutes. Tooling and processes handle a wide variety of assembly needs: from simple SMT assemblies to highly integrated combinations of SMT, flex circuits, and BGA's. Our BGA rework stations support quality assembly and rework of BGA's, micro-BGA's and flip chips. Critical processes are monitored real time In-Line to ensure that all defects are quickly identified, analyzed, and resolved.
- Through-Hole. Fully automated Dynapert auto-insertion machines facilitate volume through-hole assembly. Hepco forming machines and manual loading lines provide the flexibility to handle combined SMT and through-hole assemblies. Thru-hole soldering is performed by Soltec and Electrovert dual wave solder machines, capable of handling up to 24"-wide boards. We also have the ability to automate the soldering of many through-hole components that would commonly be hand soldered with the use of our Selective Soldering machine that supports both Leaded and Lead-Free soldering processes.
- Backplane Assembly. Our services cover both conventional and "active component" backplanes and are supported by 24”x36” board size capability throughout the assembly process as well as a fully automated 12 ton press and manual press capabilities.
