Following successful completion of a comprehensive checklist and on-site audit, Paramit Corporation has been awarded unconditional certification under IPC’s Lead Free Electronics Assembly Process Capability Program. The certification determines that Paramit Corporation’s

Paramit enters its final phase of Lead-Free implementation. After 18 months of preparation and process development, Paramit is in its final phase for relasing an end-to-end Lead Free manufacturing process. This phase includes process verification as well as extensive training programs that will involve nearly every employee. A Lead-Free manufacturing process is required to support electronic products entering the European Union, which must be compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive after July 1st, 2006. Additionally, Paramit has provided extensive services to several of its customers in analyzing their BOM’s for RoHS compliance and recommending compliant alternate parts as required to support the RoHS initiative. Paramit will be speaking at RoHS/WEEE seminars. Paramit has been invited to speak at two seminars focused on helping OEM’s understand the impact of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) European Union Directives. These events will be produced by the Alliance of Service Providers & Manufacturers (ASPMFG) and hosted by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The first event will be held on Tuesday, June 14th at the Sheraton Hotel in Sunnyvale, CA, and the second will be on Tuesday, July 26th at the Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati corporate offices in Palo Alto CA.
