Paramit’s Solar and Renewable Energy EMS Experience
- A startup LED lighting company engaged Paramit to help support its NPI to high volume manufacturing needs. We not only produced the initial prototypes, but also developed complete manufacturing, test, and quality plans to take the customer rapidly from prototype to volume off-shore production. This included developing custom processes for potting and adhesives needs, as well as providing invaluable re-design feedback aimed at reducing costs in volume production.
- A solar energy company engaged Paramit to build micro-inverter systems for Photo Voltaic panels, an industry-changing product. Our customer understood the need for high reliability, since market observers would be quick to scrutinize performance and uptime. We designed a scalable manufacturing process to produce thousands of units per month at the highest quality levels. Paramit’s test engineering group helped design and implement a test strategy that included implementation of ICT, functional test, leak testing, HALT/HASS, and final system test. This product went through numerous changes over several months, and Paramit supported multiple quick turn builds.
