Paramit’s Industrial and Commercial EMS Experience
- For a DVD Rental Kiosk company, Paramit provides turnkey manufacturing. We started with an early stage design of these remotely controlled units, and took on the challenge to deliver more than 450 units in the first three months of the project. Our engineering teams designed a manufacturing process and developed sub-system tests in parallel to provide a high yield at final system assembly. Our mechanical engineering team re-designed a critical electro-mechanical sub-system to improve reliability and also provided critical feedback to improve other mechanical aspects of the system.
- Paramit provides NPI and full turnkey production for a Data Acquisition Products company. Our customer had a unique challenge: re-design and customize a module within six weeks for shipment to a very large OEM overseas. Paramit engineers reviewed and provided feedback on the design, developed a manufacturing process and detailed “method sheets” while concurrently developing the test platform. The program management and materials team worked in a compressed time frame to procure all of the necessary materials while managing a dynamic engineering-change environment. Our close collaboration with our customer’s team resulted in a successful shipment to the OEM by the aggressive deadline.
